Tango Orquesta Tipica's were central to the growth and development of argentine tango from 1910's.
Tango wouldn't be as it is without the influence of some great conductors & orchestras like Pugliese, Disarli, Troilo, D'Arienzo, Canaro, Tanturi, Fresedo, Biaggi, D'Agostino, De Angelis, Demare, Calo, Laurenz & more.
About The Masterclass:
In these Masterclasses we will explain and identify the fundamental musical, rhythmical & expressive elements often used by the conductors & orchestras to create their own unique style and we'll explore some personal, aestetic, social and historical aspects that made them part of the history of tango.
After this talks you will be able to recognise some musical and stylistic aspects of the greatest tango orchestras, get some useful information about their history and understand a bit of the social, personal and historical context where they develop their style.
About the teachers:
Mariano Laplume is a musician, former violinist of Sexteto Milonguero and Tango dancer living in Rotterdam, NL originally from Buenos Aires.
Marisol Canessa is violinist with an extensive career in diferent tango and classical orchestras and founding member of the Sexteto Milonguero living in Buenos Aires, ARG.
