Maral and Mariano have moved to Rotterdam from London, where they continue to have their successful tango school and very popular milonga. They are both very experienced teachers who bring not only Tango, but also the broad experience/education they have received as classical/contemporary dancer(Maral), tango musician (Mariano as violinist of Sexteto Milonguero) and Alexander Technique teacher (Mariano). Maral and Mariano teach an average of over 700 tango lessons a year and both have many thousands of hours of teaching experience worldwide in Buenos Aires, London, Paris, Berlin, NY, Montreal, Toronto and more... Based on this experience and our commitment to nurturing good quality tango, we enjoy the 1-1 setting because we can give students our undivided attention and allow them to feel how to move, rather than just hear or see the teacher as is usually the case in group class settings. Private lessons are tailored to combine what we see as being essential for your balanced development and expanding on your interest areas in order to have you dancing as you would like. Lessons are fully personalized for your needs and priorities and can be 1-1 or for a couple. A private lesson can include or focus on many aspects, including connection/communication, technique, structure, vocabulary, figures, styles, musicality and more. For more advanced dancers or aspiring professionals, some interest areas may include choreography, performance, aesthetic coherence and more specific dancer and body awareness training and coaching. We value and teach the importance of a well connected embrace and attention to the quality of movement at all levels. |
