Tango Garden regular comments via annonimous fedback form "Tango Garden is wonderful! There is absolutely nothing I would like to change about the lessons, Maral's and Mariano's teaching is among the best I've ever had. I really like the atmosphere during the practica and the pure practice room. And there's cake, what's not to like?"

Emma Reyes (Tango Teacher/Performer) LONDON, UK see original post here "...Maral and Mariano's (...) warmth as people, organisers and teachers has, in my eyes, only continued to grow. They have a great balance of hard work and fun in their classes and a wealth of knowledge and experience in movement, music, history and culture which allows students to develop an overall picture of what Argentine Tango was, is and could be. I would highly recommend their classes and events!"
Maeve McGreevy (Tango Teacher/Performer) LONDON, UK see original post here "I've been taking classes and lessons with M & M since they came to the UK five years ago. I was already 'five years in' at that point, so had had experience with a wide rage of teachers. I was instantly attracted by M & M's fresh, very musical and 'hands on' approach to teaching AT. I think Mariano's background as a professional violinist, and his training in Alexander Technique, really makes a difference in the way he enables, and encourages movement. I continue to have fortnightly privates with Mariano, where I mostly follow. These lessons are hard work - he misses nothing - but are a joyful highlight of my week!"
Nick Stone LONDON, UK see original post here "Maral & Mariano are by far my favourite tango teachers and offer something truly unique. Instead of the usual focus on steps, their approach is much more holistic and focuses on understanding of the principles behind the dance - starting with breaking up from step sequences and teaching how to creatively use your dance vocabulary, through music interpretation (which goes much deeper than any musicality classes I've seen), to insights into Argentine culture and tango origins. It really feels like you're dealing with a sage with an in-depth understanding of every aspect of tango. I couldn't possibly recommend them enough."
Tom Kotecki LONDON, UK "Maral & Mariano's lessons were the first time I saw how following in tango could be an expressive art. I loved that Maral was able to introduce the musical, physical and emotional aspects of tango in her instructions in a very accessible way. The combination of high-quality technical instruction with a consistent focus on connection and breath really pushed my dancing to a new level. It was a really well-rounded, valuable learning experience, and I'm looking forward to more!" Lisa Cavion TORONTO, CANADA "I first met Maral & Mariano at a ‘Mango’ workshop and to my surprise I did not get stressed out as I usually do - it was a relaxing and really enjoyable learning experience. I’ve subsequently been having private lessons with Maral and I always feel that after a lesson with her the quality of my dance basics like balance, posture, movement and musicality improve every single time – even if I can’t master the technicalities of a specific step. The flexibility in her approach combined with the focused way we collaborate really works for me and it’s very 'sticky learning ' that I don't forget. I find myself intuitively recalling what she teaches me when I dance at a Milonga and I love the fact that my partners are starting to notice the difference in the confidence and clarity of my lead. I think she is a truly gifted teacher, a lovely fun person and a gorgeous dancer." Tony Watts ASCOT, UK "I first met Maral & Mariano at a small group class which they give regularly in London. Their attention to detail and to each member of the class was impressive - and delivered with charm, good humour and at a very reasonable price. Now, in private lessons with Mariano, he is focussing not on steps but on helping me to move with balance, control and smooth efficiency. This leads to a flowing ease of movement, without tension, which is allowing this wonderful dance to become an ever more pleasurable experience both for me, and from the feedback I get, for the leaders who dance with me. Thank you, Maral & Mariano - I continue to gain so much from your teaching and I wholeheartedly recommend you to all tangueros." Esther Rosten, LONDON, UK "Best of all I like the love. Cakes, sangria, fairy lights and occasionally Mariano's violin. But love is not enough. I think you need to manage a class so that every participant is looked after. You need to keep your website updated. You need to structure your lessons, explain the intention behind exercises and demonstrate and highlight technique in the movements taught. You need to keep the tango thrilling. And for me, you need to provide an opportunity for students to make a record of the lesson. M&M do all of the above and much, much more.
