Tango Orquesta Tipica's were central to the growth and development of argentine tango from 1920's.
In these talks we will explain and identify the fundamental musical, rythmical & expressive elements often used by the conductors & orchestras to create their own unique style and we'll explore some personal, aestetic, social and historical aspects that made them part of the history of tango.
After this talks you will be able to recognise some musical and stylistic aspects of the greatest tango orchestras, get some useful information about their history and understand a bit of the social, personal and historical context where they develop their style
In the second week we'll talk about Carlos Disarli & Orchestra
Carlos Di Sarli (January 7, 1903 – January 12, 1960) was an argentinian Tango musician, orchestra leader, composer and pianist.
